Lost and Found
The rebel lair's outer door opens, revealing a black sillouette of a figure.
Mystique pulls two guns, instantly levelling them at the sillouette's chest. "Is he with you?" It's too tall and lean to be James, but she's still pushed the remaining grenade out of her chest and into her lap. Just in case.

The figure staggers forward. Once the light is behind him, he's still nothing more than a black sillouette.
"Stephen...he's still alive."

Peter springs to support Sunspot. "What the hell happened?"

"They tried to turn Sooraya, but with her powers...being made out of dust...it was," his eyes clench shut. "I only thought I'd seen horror."

The entire room dims as his skin brightens to a nearly painful glow.
"I am Roberto DaCosta. They killed my father. They took my wife. And now, I am ready to lay down my life to kill them all."

"I don't know what Stephen Strange you knew, but the one I know is a man I would die to save and count it more than a fair trade."

"Goddammit... let me guess, he's the Sorcerer Supreme. And we have to deal with magic again."
He rubs his face.

Without him.
Don't think about that.
"I know we planned on taking the Mb..." he pauses, not sure how much information to give out in front of these strangers. "I remember our next probable location. But please, listen to me. We are so few. He will come for us, and at nightfall the Barons will come for us, and any surivors will be whittled down to too few for a real strike. We must attack now."
He leans back, cupping Silver's face in one hand. "We must go to the palace."

The lights dim again as he glares at the idiotic stranger.
"I learned from what went before. Peter, the goggles need to be darker, much darker. And I've learned upper limits to my power not even I thought I possessed."
He stares into Silver's eyes.
"I can do this."

She is slow to respond to his words, thinking it over. "He's right. If we don't do something now we won't have enough people to do anything after we lose whoever we would lose in the retaliation tonight." Silver carefully removes Roberto's hand from her cheek, giving it a small squeeze before releasing it and starting to step away from him.
Looking to the newcomers, she seems ready to give an emotional plea. But it isn't her way. "We're going to have to go. If you come, you can figure out what it is you need to do and maybe we can help. If not - we'll either survive or we won't. The more capable people we have, the better chance we all have."

"But I learned something. Something that may be the key to the Queen's power. There's a man, Yeshua, named after the prophet. He is responsible for keeping the Queen's favourite pets alive. And her enemies... Sooraya..." He shudders at the memory.
"We take out her healer and we take out one of her greatest sources of strength. Rumor has it there hasn't been an omega level healer born in the last decade. The Cassidy's used theirs up three years ago. The one in Westchester comitted suicide right after the takeover." His lips tighten into a thin line. "Rumor says the one in Vegas is actually running the place, but that could just be a wishful thinking." False hope hurts everyone.

"You absorb light. I make light. We find something that can make a lot of noise and you'll have an endless source to power up. Not to mention I figure I can incinerate a few vampires outright or at least keep them at bay if it comes down to it." She gives another happy smile. "This is gonna rock."
The freedom fighters probably don't find it amusing but she just got here after all.

A glance to Sarah. "First order of business would be to figure out how to counteract this Storm Queen herself - what was her name? Aurora Monsoon or something? What does she do again?"

He's impressed with the blue kid's disappearing act. If the blonde is right about her power acting as a battery for them...
Damn.
Someone might actually survive.
