The rebel lair's outer door opens, revealing a black sillouette of a figure.

Mystique pulls two guns, instantly levelling them at the sillouette's chest. "Is he with you?" It's too tall and lean to be James, but she's still pushed the remaining grenade out of her chest and into her lap. Just in case.

"Er, I was talking to the Webbed Wonder, actually.."

"Yeah, I know. The Webbed Wonder who, alone of all of us, is totally out of his element, doesn't recognize any of these people or places, and has a lot on his shoulders back home, if he has a home to go back to. My world isn't exactly a nice place, but at least I have a frame of reference here. I can't say I'm sure I like him, but I can see why he's so tense. Cut the guy some slack, huh?"

He shifts form Shatner to Nimoy. "The blonde one apparently finds humor a difficult concept."

She shifts into Sarek. "It is...illogical."

Mystique shifts into one of the Wonder Twins. "Shape of...ewww."

He gleefully changes into the other. "Form of.. yuck!"

Sarah raises a brow, then shakes her head. "Who are... nevermind. So do we have an anti-vampire plan yet?"

Mystique shifts into a young Keifer Sutherland. "As soon as the Lost Boy and Girl there come out of the batcave, we'll see what the locals have in mind."

"I gave up trying to understand them ages ago," he shrugs, ignoring the cavalcade of insults.

"We're apparently about to be on the move again, but everyone's getting a bit tense. That Silver Sable is desperate to the point of thinking it'll be better to kill the rest of humanity than it will be to keep trying to fight against these vampire things. I was thinking Atlantis might have a secret up their sleeve, but they seem to be pretty adamant that no one's going to be able to contact them."

A shrug. "I guess we're waiting to see what THEIR plan is, and scoff accordingly."

"Ages. Three whole days. How long is that in Spider Years?"

"We're going to have a tough time lighting the Storm Queen's darkness if we keep running from it with the locals."

"We're not running from anything."

Bobby's clothes are so smooth they could've just been ironed, but his hair is disheveled and his posture is so relaxed it's practically liquid.

"We're taking this to them. We're going to the castle."

There is still an edge to Silver.

It is just an entirely different edge now. She looks a little more rumpled than Roberto but it seems to matter less.

"We don't have enough people to keep running an hoping. We have to fight now or we're going to be whittled away until we don't matter anymore."

"Great. Post-coital courage. Always a plus. Is there a PLAN associated with this fight or what?"

"Doesn't sound like there's been time to plan, since I didn't hear any talk of making an assault before I fell asleep. So we... or at least they, get to come up with one. I don't know about the rest of you, but I think I have to help them."

"We've been making plans for this for a long time. Now is just the point when we have to enact them."

Silver looks toward the assembled others, "Come with us or not but you'll still have a better chance with us than not."

"We're with you. We don't have anything better to do," he shrugs. "The sooner we go light the darkness, the sooner we go to some place with a laundromat."
