If you can't beat them, beat their friends.
Butte, Montana. The outskirts.
Town looks pretty well beaten down, so the intel may still be spot on.
It's hard to get used to following this hairy runt around after he was such a terrifying psycho killfreak just two worlds ago, but chances are, if he flips out, Raven will be the first one to go, and he likely wouldn't lose much sleep over that.
Spider-Man's head has cleared, and he's crawling up a steep hill to get a better view over the bluff.
"I'm not seeing anything yet," he mutters down to the rest of the crew, through the comm.

"Don't let 'em know we're comin'."

Despite her light tone, she's not looking forward to this. Anna Marie's life wasn't particularly good before Raven adopted her. There are a lot of ways the girl's life could've gone, most of them bad.
It feels strange to be blue out of uniform. Her hair is longer than she normally wears it. One photo found at the Avengers files showed a dour faced Anna and grim Raven, both dressed in jeans and plain black tank top. She's copied the look, hoping to spark some hint of familarity.

An immediate gob of webbing splats against the metal man's face to keep him at bay.
"Do you know these people?!" he barks. "If so, how do you kill them?!"
He is not happy.

"You will be seeing no one, Raven. Your time has passed."

Said bird-man currently has Spider-Man on his back, wrenching him upwards to spare Raven's head.
"GO! Before any more of us die!"
There's a strong note of worry in his voice. Spider-Man's getting hyperactive.

"You're not the only one time passes differently for, Pietro."
She pulls out a can of stun mist. It won't knock the Prince out, not with his metabolism, but it should slow him down enough to hit the cocky bastard with a bullet.
Her mouth, nose, and pores seal closed as she lets loose.

He tries to run back quickly, but he's staggering...

She takes off running towards Anna's hideout, reloading along the way.

Toad, however, bounds ahead of Mystique, guiding her way.
"The others are fools! You were the true way, not this green bathtard!"

Raven follows him anyway. She can't pretend the rest of them need her for extra muscle. No more putting it off. If she wants off this loathesome rock, it has to be done.
She has to see this parody of her daughter.

He lopes forward, leading her into a rocky, dusty cave.
Down into a roughly hollowed-out cavern - as if carved out by fists. Living space for a sizeable cabal of mutants. Toad keeps bounding through.
Leading her deeper into the mountain...
Where it will become completely obvious where the 'machine' in question is. It's monstrous, crafted by massive hands, filling the entire room with its well-protected bulk. A heavy electronic buzz prominent and obtrusive.
You could almost miss the small woman connected thoroughly, deep within its structure...

Mechanical tendrils reach out to grab Anna, as she is the catalyst of this machine, and she's pulled right back to the seat she was on - that crown descending to wrap around her head once more.
There's an unearthly glow about the massive machinery, as it taps into Anna's natural mutant power, projecting it over a long, wide range...
Spider-Man lunges for that switch, but in mid-leap, he starts to feel the effects of it all... and his artificially enhanced dexterity, strength and agility begins to desert him, and he lands in a heap... his consciousness starting to fade...
