While Mom and Daughter are bonding, Alison has her hands full with a monster of her own creation. Sort of. She dodges out of the way of the laser snake, cursing softly in German as she finds the tables turned. She's not sure sending light against light will help though and instead she turns up the power around herself, sending out a bright aura of light that will hopefully help Nocturne with her shadow creatures. All the while, Ali tries to keep out of the way of the snake while considering plans of attack.
