"No," Wanda says in a reasonable if annoyed tone. "Every time someone comes to see her, my babies go away again, and then I have to hunt for them. Do you know how long it took me to find them this time?" Her eyes glisten with tears. "Night after night I searched for them, but finally I found Thomas, then I found William. They cried at first, but Mama kisses tears away."
