The enormous vessel has entered Earth's solar system - seemingly oblivious to all broadcast entreaties, it inexorably closes the distance to Earth. So insignificant to the ship's master are the beings of Earth that only the most perfunctory of the ship's defenses have been activated.

"Hit it, Sarah! Let's move it quick!"

That's an agreement. Spidey perches hard and prepares to slingshot Raven into whatever hole she makes.

Ok, this is /so/ much better. Hit it she can do. And this way, she isn't having to spend a ton of time on each robot - Galactus makes tough toys. She slams the hammer across the chest of one, making only a small tear, trusting Spider-Man's accuracy as she then lets it be, turning her attention to fending off another. "Hey Patriot - want in on the fun? There's a couple back there that I damaged, but had to retreat to keep from getting swarmed... think you can hit the holes I put in them and see if something inside is breakable?" This teamwork thing just gets better and better.

Morph runs interference - his ability to penetrate armor is limited, but he can become a nearly-indestructible target for the robots' blasts.

The robots, for their part, switch to using their fists - apparently realizing that such agile targets make their energy weapons too risky.

Raven's braced. Making them go boom will be fun, but if she can crawl inside one and steer, that'll be even better.

She'll find out what's inside once Wrestlemania slings her into one of Sara's holes.

A webline snags Raven, to swing her down like Tarzan right at that rip.

Sarah leaves them plenty of targets. Damaging the robots a little is a whole lot easier than destroying them, and the others can take advantage of the damages much better than she can.

The marching band uniform ripples into what looks like bare blue flesh strategically covered by a leopard skin bikini. She picks her crack and pulls out a small amber capsule that looks like an oversized B vitamin.

"Smash it against a disk then throw. You'll have three seconds."

She tenses against him, ready to push off against his body and propell herself into the nearest robot as soon as they near an opening.

Very reluctantly, he takes what he's been given from her nether regions, then slingshots her down, trusting her agility to do the rest, while he spins off and follows Sarah towards the next robot hole.

The robots are certainly not designed to be piloted, and the alien technology inside is almost incomprehensible to Mystique - but it does look very destructible.

Sarah flings Mjolnir towards the robot nearest Spider Man, worrying less about precision, or maximum damage, and just making sure she hits hard enough to try and create some battle damage, better able to focus on defending herself when she doesn't need to go all out to have a hope of taking one of these things down.

Spider-Man is on it and inside the breach before the aftershocks even stop.

Shock, this tech is beyond anything he's ever seen. Crawling beneath the armor, he finds a crevice, and activates the device, flinging it deep into the mechanisms and hoping for the best as he vaults away, slingshotting off of Sarah's shield, hurtling through the space toward another robot.

Aliens. They're worse than 'sapes.

She's not Reed Richards. There's no attempt to save any part of these robots for the sake of scientific study. Instead, she drops one of the tiny bombs, breaks the catalyst over it, and does a swan-dive out of the thing's chest before it goes BOOM.

Morph swings a tendril out to wrap around Mystique's waist to pull her more swiftly out of the blast radius.

"So do you take out the explosives before you go on a hot date, or do you not believe in safe sex?"

He waggles his just-sprouted eyebrows as the robotic guards explode violently.

Mystic lightning bursts from the ship and illuminates the force field around them...
