How long has that sun been shining?

Well, that happened.

Nocturne's hotel room is covered in interesting webbing-shapes, some of which have begun to dissolve. They've been asleep together undisturbed since the web-hammock gave out after a few hours and dropped them onto the bed. The webbing around the window, designed to keep any of that pesky light from intruding on them, is starting to fade as well.

The weird voice of the Tallus swirled in his dreams.

And suddenly, Miguel's eyes shoot open.

In a somewhat-hoarse voice, he worries aloud to the ceiling.

"Holy shock, I hope we weren't the fatal loins."

"Oh, man... I'd been second-guessing the costume ever since my brother's crazy girlfriend wouldn't shut up about my butt..."

His face flushes a little.

"But it was the blue first. Blue people are pretty scarce in 2099. Honestly... it was all... it was mostly intellectual curiosity until you actually let me touch your hand. Then I realized you were pretty cool. But still... I didn't think this at all."

"Been a long while since I let myself think of anything like this. But that gets into sob stories I'm sure you don't care about."

"Itellectual curiosity leading to marathon lovemaking. I think that's an entirely new one," she says and laughs. "Sex for science! I like it. Maybe we can conduct a few more experiments in the near future. I'm sure I can think of a few new ways to go about things..." she trails off and closes her eyes once again, getting herself as close to him as possible.

"Right now, though, I'm all for happily snoozing until we have to go save the world."
