"Nah, it'll be fine," he returns, his fingers still playing idly with her tail as he kisses her forehead. "The webbing dissolves on its own after a while. Just keep the Do Not Disturb sign on the door for today, and tomorrow she'll only need a vacuum."
Then, he takes a moment to try to figure out how best to interlock his five fingers with her three fingers.
