The pout she caught, both mentally and physically. She can't have that. He's much more pliable when he's encouraged. She just won't think about what he does when he's thinking about her.
The smile he gets from her wouldn't put anyone in their right mind at ease, but it's all she has. She backs it up with a small touch of her fingertips to his shoulder.
